Christine was born in Cleveland Ohio, but has lived most of her life in Florida.
She is the Assistant Director of Media and Advertising at the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County. She and her husband William also own Christofek Weiss Media Group Inc., a full service advertising agency serving the tri-county area. Christine specializes in producing and directing commercials, talent placing, commercial media negotiating, buying and ad placement.
She has a bachelor's degree in business management from Palm Beach Atlantic University and just recently returned from Harvard Law School in Cambridge Massachusetts earning a certification in Public Negotiations. Christine is also certified by the Department of Homeland Security in Emergency and Crises Management.
She has a vast background in television as she spent 17-years at WPTV Channel 5 mostly as a field reporter covering stories ranging from local wildfires to Presidential visits and shuttle launches for NBC News Channel. As well as co-hosting the South Florida Business Report, she can be seen every Thursday evening on WPEC TV 12 hosting the "Eye on Your Environment" segments and WPTV Channel 5's "Florida's Future" segments for the authority.
Christine has earned two Emmy Awards for her work, nearly a dozen Addy Awards, a Telly Award and numerous other television awards. She resides in Martin County with her husband Martin County Sheriffís Deputy William Weiss. |
